Health Check-up Camps for Educational Activity Centre Children

Debora Foundation India, in collaboration with Doddaballapur Government Hospital and Baptist Hospital, Bengaluru, organized a series of four health camps between December 2025 and January 2026. These camps were designed to provide free medical check-ups, identify health concerns among children, and promote awareness of hygiene and preventive healthcare practices. The initiative covered 18 villages through Educational Activity Centres (EACs), ensuring that children from rural and marginalized communities received access to essential medical services.

A total of 579 children received health check-ups, conducted by a dedicated team of eight doctors and paramedical staff from Doddaballapur Government Hospital and Bangalore Baptist Hospital. Children diagnosed with health concerns were referred for further medical investigation. Our Debora Foundation field staff are actively following up with the respective parents and hospital authorities to ensure timely medical attention and necessary interventions.

The collaboration with hospitals, teachers, social workers, and interns ensured smooth execution and community participation. Overall, these camps contributed significantly to the wellbeing of children and laid the foundation for sustained health interventions in the future.
