For Community-Based Volunteers of Educational Activity Centres (EACs)
Community-based volunteers play an essential role in the success of Educational Activity Centres (EACs) by helping to deliver learning activities, provide guidance, and engage with communities to address local educational challenges. However, to maximize their effectiveness, it is crucial to provide volunteers with the necessary tools, skills, and resources that can empower them to better support the education system, foster local involvement, and address the specific challenges of the community. Capacity building focuses on strengthening volunteers’ capabilities to improve their impact and sustainability in their roles.
Volunteers are trained to establish feedback loops with the community to assess the impact of their educational activities. These involve surveys, interviews, or community meetings to gather input from parents, students, and other stakeholders.
